  1. No, the only way to play High Definition DVDs on an XBOX is to buy the external HD DVD drive. Then you can play HD DVDs but not Blueray.


  2. No. Microsoft may release an external Blu-ray drive add-on in the future, but as of now there's no way to play Blu-ray on the Xbox 360
