  1. yeah they can breed...coloration of babys depends on parents coats...

  2. Yup they can breed. Those are just different breeds of rabbits, all the same species. Just like you can breed different breeds of dogs together, same goes for rabbits.

I'm not sure how the babies would look, since the two breeds have very different body shapes. I'm not sure how the genetics would make everything turn out. That would be a very interesting genetics problem to go over for someone who can do that sort of analysis.

  3. It'd be okay if the Netherland Dwarf was the father.  If it was the other way around, the babies may be too big for the Dwarf to carry and you'd put her life at risk.  It's hard to say what exactly the babies would look like.  I'd assume they'd be between the size of the two and have spots.  They may have funny sized ears for the body.  I wouldn't personally do it.  I'd find a bunny of the same breed to breed with either one.  I raised Holland Lops for years and had some Netherland Dwarfs.  I did breed a Holland once with a Dwarf just out of curiousity and it was fine 'cause they are similar in size but the babies weren't all that cute.  It's up to you!  Good luck!
