Can You Drink Alcohol While Being On The Pill ?

i am on the pill & i sm going out tonight but i dont know if its safe to drink & take my pill, because i have to take it for 9 o clock, the type im on is called microgynon 30. its just th one to stop you having babies :| HELP QUICKK !

Yes you can, don't throw up for at least an hour after taking it, you won't have much protection if you do.

Of course you can drink alcohol.  What makes you think you can't?  And why do you have to take it at 9 o'clock?  As long as you take it at a regular time, it doesn't matter if you take it at 8/9/10 or midnight!

Yes, you can definitely drink while you are on the pill, just make sure that you take it when you are supposed to.  The only thing it does is makes your body metabolize (break down) alcohol more slowly.  Meaning that you could get drunk more quickly...

i have been on the pill for more then 5 years, and drink alcohol regularly. it has no effect. i take my pill in the morning.

The only problem is the risk of vomit or diarrhoea,if you drink too much.

I suggest you to take early your pill for today, so you will be sure that it is working, and tomorrow you can return to your normal time.

(you know, the pill action is 36 hours, so if you take it at 6 pm, tomorrow you right if you take it by 12 pm, so if you will take it at 9pm as usal, and everythings is ok)
