If you are a minor, can you get volunteer work hours for a company that is NOT non-profit?

Definitely! An organization doesn't have to be non-profit in order for you to be able to volunteer! For example, lots of people volunteer at vet clinics, which are for-profit. As long as they let you volunteer and will sign your school (or whatever) forms, that's totally fine!
