  1. Yes, I've got one.

All DVD recorders with an HDD can burn to DVD discs.  Mine's a Sony RDR-HXD560 (now superseded) with an 80-gb hard drive and built in Freeview.

You can either record directly onto a disc or onto the HDD, then dub onto a disc.  Great picture and sound quality, too!

  2. I have one an LG HDD recorder 80gb hard drive i got it from Comet a year ago for £170. i can put in disc or record onto the hard drive.

  3. Yes. You can get a Philips DVDR3455H DVD Recorder with 160GB Hard Drive. It record programs to the Hard Drive. If it's something you want to keep, edit out the commercials and burn it to the DVD-R drive. It can do multiple things at once, such as you can copy a program from the hard drive to DVD, while at the same time watching live TV or another program already recorded on the hard drive. You can change your time recording settings while watching a pre-recorded program or while a program is being recorded. You can even buy them at WalMart.

  4. Yes you can my computer does all that although I haven't got a clue how it does it all.
