  1. You can register up to 15 days before the election day.

Sorry, I did not realize different states had different registration dates.

  2. Yes go to any post office and get a registration form

  3. CALL 1-866-MYVOTE1  and they will register you over the phone.

  4. Laws vary state by state.  Contact your County Registrar of Voters and register as soon as possible.

And good for you in being concerned.  Take care of this now and you'll never have to do it again unless you move.

  5. Most states you can register up to around 30 days before election day. Go to the Secretary of State's website ... here in Texas, you can actually fill out a form online and register that way; maybe in PA, too. Sometimes you can download a form to mail in, too.

Oherwise, you can  usually get a voter registration form at any post office or public library.

  6. It varies state by state. Anywhere from 30 to 10 days prior to the election.

  7. In PA, the deadline to vote is 30 days prior to the election.

Check there -- and if you wander on that site more, you will find the rest of the info you need.

  8. No, you must be registered by early October. The last day to register for the general election in Pennsylvania is October 6th. Hurry.

    From the voter registration website:

In Pennsylvania, the deadline to register to vote is 30 days prior to each election. Applications received after that date will be processed for the next primary, special, municipal or general election. To participate in the 2008 Presidential General Election, register by October 6, 2008.

  9. yes dear!

  10. I think you would have to go to the office of reg. voters, at least we do where I live, When I moved once I just called and they mailed me all I needed!! I was registered in another state!

  11. I don't know individual states, but it seems to me in '04 in Missouri there were registrations in October, but I'm not sure. But I'm sure this early you would still have time. Call your local Board of Election Commissioners, or whatever it is called in your area. They can tell you when and how to register in your state. But I'm sure a few days after Labor Day is never too late in an election this important.

  12. No, October 3rd is the last day you can register.

  13. Yes you have to be living in the state for a month longer than election. You can go to Declare Yourself..com

  14. yes

  15. i believe the deadline to register is a month before election date.

  16. Yes, only if your vote goes for Obama.

  17. You have to be registered by October to be eligible to vote in the November election.  Go to any Motor Vehicle Department branch in your state and they can register you and tell you what your polling place is.  Also, lots of non-profit organizations, like MTV Rock The Vote, are touring America and getting people registered, so look for one of their vans.  You have to register to vote in person, not online, because they have to be able to prove you really exist, for election fraud prevention.

  18. i believe you can but every state has different rules when the cut off date is...go to rockthevote.org and you can register

  19. No u have to register 30 prior to any election which means if u want to vote in this presidential election then u have to register 30 days before so october is your deadline...
