Can You Tell Me If Pay Pal really is Secure and the advantages disadvantages of using Pay Pal?

Question

If you are selling something online like a PDF tutorial file which payment do you prefer?

Because I am planning to be paid through PayPal to avoid fraud and any illegal stuff. And I would like to know if, do you need to ask PayPal for their permission to post their logo in your site? So that people will know that you accepting payment through PayPal.

Well, I have used PayPal for years and haven't had any problems. I like it's convenience and it's definitely nice that you aren't repeatedly putting your cc info out there so consumers really appreciate that. Once you have the acct set up with them you can receive immediate payment which is always nice.  Secondly, you can convert it to cash by transferring funds to your bank acct and going to the atm (heads up: it takes a few days for this process to go through). Or you can request a check which I believe takes about a week to receive. On your third question I think they offer it to you as an option when you are on your PayPal page to post it up on your site as a quick link. On your fourth question you ask about a license. Well, I'm not so sure on that one. I don't believe so. People sell stuff on the internet all the time with or without much more than a computer and a product. And to your final question.. PayPal has never given me problems. I guess that's subject to different people's experiences but for myself, I know if I didn't utilize it then I wouldn't be as successful with my sales. It helps that you can pay immediately and people like knowing that they aren't entering their cc info. Hope I helped.
