  1. yes. hit up your local walmart. check out the car audio isle and look for the Scoshe connectors. they plug into your stock harness and supply all the wires youll need to hook up a aftermarket head unit.

  2. you can go to auto zone and buy the adapters but most of the time u will need new speakers. the new radio will blow them if there to weak or u will here static.

  3. Yes

  4. Usually.

  5. yes you can. if you have the know how feel, and you understand basic wiring. positive to positive and negative to negative. it quite a hassle though. but if you can track the wires. theres no harm in directly connecting the headphone chord of your cd player to your car speakers. no such thing will blow or burn. even if you mixed up the wires. the speakers will not give out sound or gives out blurry scratchy sound. the mixed wires will just heat up. no damage to the cd player and speakers. i have installed a cd player, a 2000 watts power amp and 150 watts speakers and made it fit in the baggage box on a motorbike. its a blast...

    good luck.

  6. yes. they even make wiring harness adapters so you wont have to cut it all up. You can get them from most high end stereo shops.
