  1. my boyfriend has had a leopard gecko for about 16-17 years and leaves the crickets in all the time. they normally sit on its head back etc but 2 days ago i had to flick one off as it looked like it was chewing on it and yesterday my boyfriend had to pull one off as it had eaten into her back, quite bad too, you can see the top and unter her spine, we rushed her to the vets and she should hopefully be fine, but lizards have a slow matabalism so it will take longer for them to heal. we've got painkillers and anti-biotics to give her. i would recomend staying with the same place of purchase for your crickets because you know there fine, and also go for the small ones as if they do attack they wont make as much damage.

Has anyone else been in this situation?? how did it end??
