Can You take an xbox to another country in a plane?

Heres the deal. the first person to answer it truthfully and informatively before 20 hours will get best answer. now here's the question-i'm going to india, and i was wondering if i could take my xbox with me to india in the plane? also, should it be carry on or luggage? is there a customs charge? thanks

2. I would put it in your carry on if you can.  Checked luggage gets thrown around a lot and theft is not uncommon.

3.  There should be no charge.  The only problem MIGHT be coming back into the country (and if you have the reciept still it might be extra safe to bring it) but if they look at the plug they'll know it's north american

4.  Go to an electronics store before you go...tell them where you are going and that you need an adapter.  They have different outlets all around the world and I doubt you will be able to plug it in there without one.  The electronics store will know what to get you.

You can take it with you in the lugguage but i would put as my carry on because they just throw your luggages around and they will proablly break it. If you have it with you as your carry on it will be with you the whole time so you wont have to worry about it breaking and even getting stolen because you cant lock your luggage.
