My son wants a sidekick and I'm currently in Chicago on my business trip. I sent him the money earlier.

Can he go to the T-mobile store and buy the phone himself?>

I mean, just the phone, no sim card, no plans.

Just the phone.

And what is the estimate of the price?

  1. i think he can because it is just the phone but to set it up you have to have an adult sign for it you have to be i think 14 or 16

  2. I'm almost certain he can.  I think if he explains the sit. (ie he wants to upgrade his phone before it's free) that they'll charge him for the phone and nothing else.

  3. he can get it on prepaid no problem and have the service and everything idk how much the phone is but the service is a $1 a day and that includes unlimited txting and web browsing and minuts are 15 cents each

  4. When buying a phone you have to get the sim phone ect. Then you have to place your signature for you to pay the bill. The estimate now is about 199 dollars to 300 dollars I think.so I would suggest to tell him to wait until you come back from chicago.
