  1. At 13 your chances of having breast cancer are very, very close to zero. Breast cancer is largely a disease of ageing - 80 per cent of those diagnosed are over 50, it's rare in women under 40, very rare in women under 30 and almost unheard of in under 20s

Every day teenage girls post on here terrified that they have breast cancer because of perfectly normal hormonal changes.

Most breast lumps, even in women over 50, aren't cancerous. Most cancerous breast lumps don't hurt unless they're advanced- most people diagnosed with breast cancer have felt no pain.

When you say that a 'clearish light light tan stuff comes out;, do you mean out of the lump, or out of your nipple. If it comes out of the lump, this sounds like a spot or boil.

Talk to your mother about this; she will be able to reassure you and/or drcide if you need to see a doctor.

But try not to worry; bear in mind how very, very unlikely it is that someone your age has breast cancer. The American Cancer Society and other cancer organisations recommend that women start regular breast self-examination at the age of 20. There's a reason for that.

  2. i guess it's possible but unlikely.

it sounds more like a hormone change.

    go see a doctor.

and please do not worry yourself sick. i'm sure you are fine.

  3. Occasionally, breast cancer presents as metastatic disease, that is, cancer that has spread beyond the original organ. Metastatic breast cancer will cause symptoms that depend on the location of metastasis. More common sites of metastasis include bone, liver, lung and brain. Unexplained weight loss can occasionally herald an occult breast cancer, as can symptoms of fevers or chills. Bone or joint pains can sometimes be manifestations of metastatic breast cancer, as can jaundice or neurological symptoms. These symptoms are “non-specific,” meaning they can also be manifestations of many other illnesses.

Most symptoms of breast disorder do not turn out to represent underlying breast cancer. Benign breast diseases such as mastitis and fibroadenoma of the breast are more common causes of breast disorder symptoms. The appearance of a new symptom should be taken seriously by both patients and their doctors, because of the possibility of an underlying breast cancer at almost any age.

  4. Sound like a  pimple, very very very unlikely, if your so scared tell your parents.

  5. I would let your mom know that way she can make you and App with your Dr.

  6. Yes, a 13 year old can get breast cancer, but I don't think you have it. Go on yahoo and look up the symptoms.

  7. Yes, you can get breast cancer at any age. My mom found a lump on my breast when i was five. It turned out to be a fat ball - just a little lump of fat. It can be many things - is it hard or soft and squishy? Also, before you start your period, you can get lumps in your breast - usually just a hormonal thing, they go away - Cancerous lumps in the breast are usually hard and fixed - but have it checked out no matter what - esp if it has you worried and you have a family history. Good luck kiddo! :)

  8. No.  A 13 year old female hasn't matured, so b*****s have not grown yet.  Therefore, with no b*****s, you cannot get breast cancer.

  9. The only person who can really help you here is your doctor. Tell your mum about it for support and go see your doctor.

  10. it is extreeeeeemly rare for someone your age to get breast cancer.   but for peace of mind id go see  doctor

  11. its most likely just a fatty deposit

  12. Have it checked. You'll be fine if you get checked right away. It may not be cancer but it could be an abses. I don know what it really is but i know its some liquid or something. Hope for the best.

I'm a cancer survivor myself. Believe i know how the treatment works.
