Can a 13 year old purchase a airline ticket at the airport?

im 13 and i really want to go on a trip in the country though not to far but i have to fly to get there, am i allowed to buy a plane ticket like at the counters in the airport with cash.

That will cost A LOT MORE. Also, I dont know if you are old enough to buy the ticket.  But if you dont, you can buy it at the counter., But it will be priced at A LOT HIGHER price...probably the most expensive..

No, you will need to have an adult to purchase the ticket and guarantee (with contact details) that there will be someone to meet you. You will only be released at the other end with another adult present to collect you. Judging by your age most but not all airlines will judge you as an unaccompanied minor and you will pay a fare the same as an adult....
