do you have to have a lisence to sell

i know someone who was thinking of selling homemade gretting cards but she dont know whether shes allowed to start a business at the age of thirteen.

  2. Yes. How will anyone know how old you are. Have a look on Ebay or wherever. Tell me how old someone is who is running a business on Ebay.

    Your problems would be bank account, credit etc. but there are ways around this. (get parents to set up accounts).

    Don'tg forget you are still liable for tax.

  3. The problem is that a person under 18 cannot be sued for debt, unless it was for buying necessities like food or clothes.

    This means that suppliers won't give you credit. Some things need a licence to sell, but most don't
