  1. Legally at your age, you cannot get a job. the business could be shut down if you work.

You can try to baby sit.

Don't worry about money, every thing will turn around when a new president gets elected.

  2. i think you can get a job as long as you have ur parents permission.

  3. its hard because your 14 just do baby siting moe laws ask family friends

  4. Yeah, you can search some jobs on the internet for 14-year-olds....

Maybe a fast food place, well I would if I turned 14. heh heh

  5. you might be able to but it depends in different states. go around asking at stores and see if you can be a bagger or something. you can mostly likely work at mcdonalds or burger king or maybe babysit. i'm soo sory i hope everything will be better for you i completely understand my family is going through rough times and we could use extra money too i applied at mcdonalds so hopefully, it'll work out, for you too i hope =]

  6. Yes, but you will need a work permit and it has limitations.

  7. babysitting, sell stuff, do odd jobs? idk

You really can't do real jobs unless you're 18+

  8. Babysit.

I don't think you're parents are very responsible adults if they need some financial support from you however.

  9. too many questions about this...

but your too young to get ANY kind of job

cant you just wait till you're older becasue if you start a job now and you like what your "job" is and you earn your money,

then you will want to quit school..

usually those are the causes of drop outs.. so my advice to you is to just worry about your education and less on the jobs..

i mean its great that you want to help out your family, but in the near future of yours you can help out you're family big time because then you will have a career of yours that will make them happy..

and plus if you do get a job, like babysitting you can get into some kind of danger.. because maybe the family might be a wako, so never trust anyone. so its better to wait..

so in shorter words, no you cannot get a job at the age of 14..

    sorry

  10. How about babysitting, or tutoring younger kids? You can increase your chances of getting the most out of babysitting jobs if you take a babysitting class at your local community center, if there is a fee for the class, ask the community center office for a fee waiver. Some cities also offer newspaper delivery jobs for youth. I assume you are a freshman in high school, go to your high schools counseling office and career centers and ask for suggestions...you may be able to get referred to an internship program. And FYI...your family is not the only one having money troubles honey, the whole country is. I will also tell you what I tell my 14 year old, it's my job to worry about the money, it's your job to do well in school so that you can grow up and be able to take of yourself. The money troubles will pass, they always do. Your job now is to focus on school so that you can later get a great job. Good Luck Kid.

  11. it all depends what state you live in

i know some states you can be like a cashier at a fast food resturaunt,or a bag boy at a grocerie store.

    it all depends

look up labor laws for the state you live in on the internet,

    google

    yahoo

    any search site :)

  12. babysitting

    mowing lawns

    car wash

    united supermarkets?

  13. umm lets see..

all i can think of is doing chores for neighbors, babysitting, or try working for a family friend.

    hope this helped=]

  14. Paper round,  Cutting peoples' grass.  car washing.  There is plenty of jobs that can be worked at for a good sum of money.  Good luck to you and your family, mate!

  15. i started working in utah at 14. there are some labor laws that you can work before 16 and after thirteen. try to see if you have to have a work permit. the best way is to go to your school counselor, they will know. and after you get one grab a phone book. circle all the places you are interested in working at (most places can use the help though they dont need it, so they dont make ads in the paper) and call them and ask if they are hiring. then explain your situations. i did this right when i turned 14 and i heard alot of nos, but one very big yes at a dog kennel which i worked at for 2 years. it is possible just show your ambition and give 110%. have a good work ethic and congrats on your journey to responsibility!!!

  16. ahah

  17. Probably not. I'm pretty sure that to start working you have to be fifteen, and even then, most places won't hire.

  18. Well at 14 and 9 months you can try and apply for a job but for now just try to do some chores around the house to earn money and save!

  19. youll have to wait till your sixteen unless someone around there will let you work for them.

  20. you don`t need money to help your family, you need it for yourself :p

the parents must sign for you to be hired

  21. Yes you can, ask about a job at the place you want. Get an application. My friend is also 14 and she got a job at Mona Lisa

  22. you have to be nearly 15 to get a regular job (14 and 9 mos) but you can babysit or do odd jobs for neighbors. You can be a golf caddy or work on a farm as young as age 12. You could also get a paper route.

  23. um i know that coldstone and togos hire at 14. but i would ask around businesses and see if they need someone to file things, answer phones, or anything. small medical offices usually need someone to do those things and it pays well. good luck!

  24. in australia you can get one at the age of 14 and 9 month

  25. A 14-year-old should be able to get a job, by obtaining a work permit through their school or maybe even the city? I'm not exactly sure who distributes them.

The work permit only allows you to work certain hours, though, so I'm not sure if that's a setback for you.

But along with getting a work permit to get a job, you also have to maintain a good GPA (grade point average).

  26. probably get a job that pays under the table.

  27. In australia you can. y not try applying at the fast food stores near you?

  28. Yes you can.

  29. Teenager's jobs are usually: lawn work (summer and winter) or baby sitting. Paper delivery is another. Decide what you want to try, Print up an advertisement/offer and hand delivery it to your neighbors. If you are computer 'savvy' you can offer help to others to solve their problems.

  30. I knw thiz website where you can get paid online and they have prizes for whn u get to a certain amount like Ps3,xbox 360,Wii,PsP,Ps2,all other 1s,check the link below.

  31. lol........ as a fellow long islander i can tell you that alot of fastfood places hire at 14-15 i.e. McDonalds......i used to work at a coldstone where they hire at that age.
