Can a 14 year old work at Tim Horton's?

I will be 14 soon and hope to get a job next summer. I live in Ontario Canada. Is there anyone who works at Tim Horton's now that is 14 and can i work there at 14? Also what other places hire 14 year olds in Ontario? Thanks Brendan

I'm sure you have to be 16 to work at an actual job. But you can ask :)

some of the states below you u can.  i started working when i was 14 at a mexican resturant.  i couldn't work past 6 pm.

I believe a 14 year old can work anywhere, but there are certain legalities employers must follow when it comes to minors.

In New Zealand you have to be 15 to get a job.

Because thats when you are covered by ACC.

depends on the labor laws. go in and ask or call them and see what age they start hiring

I live in America and it's HARD to get an actual job at 14. Most jobs require you to be 18 or older. I tried to get jobs in shops, grocery stores, and restaurants, but I am just too young. I am 14, almost 15 and I had no luck in finding a job. The teen job market is very tough to get into unless you are 18.

There is some hope though! Instead of applying for an actual minimum wage job, you could mow neighbor's grass, work at a garden, walk your neighbor's dogs, rake leaves, shovel snow, etc. I would wait until you're a bit older before getting a summer job. It's hard to do, at least where I live.
