Can a 14 yr old travel out of the US alone??

Next summer i want to travel to Romania but I'm not sure if i can go alone! My parents already are freaking about this! So i was wondering if i can go and what i need if i can go! Help me please!

  1. They will need a parent's letter consent. You are minor age i think they will not allow you unless you travel with your parents.


  2. You will need a passport and both parents must sign for you to get a passport.  Then, you will need a letter of permission, signed by both parents and notarized.  In other words, you cannot go without parental permission.

  3. you can get on the plane yourself, but are you meeting someone there?
