Each state has its own regulations. Check with your state's Department of Motor Vehicles / Motor Vehicle Services .

Go to your state's government website - usually at www.state.XX.us ( XX = two letter postal abbreviation) . Look for a link for driving/transportation,etc.

you gotta be 15 and 6 months to take your permit test at the dmv

but you have to have your permit to take the behind the wheel test.if you passed that...9 months of holding your permit , you can get your license. but thats in virginia,im not sure if its the same where u live
