Can a 15 year old get any jobs ?

Seriously, i need a job. There are about 15 things i need done and no money to do it. I am only 15 though, and just turned it so Im a year away from 16. Is there ANY way of getting a job that pays minimum wage, as though i WAS 16, without needing the connections of family or something since i also just moved to a new town.

Any help is greatly appreciated, citations are ideal.

The Rest homes desperately need feeders. If you can feed your self you can catch on to feeding a hungry older person. Yes you will get min wage and a chance to see if you might like to be a Dr or a nurse!

if you live near a farm you could do farm work

but besides that babysitting and doing yardwork is about all you can do

you could could try one of you local fast food restarunts(sp?)

it would be a good place to start and you would also make heaps of new friends

I would whip open the phone book and start dialing fast food restaurants..perhaps regular restaurants that might need a dishwasher.

Ask them if they are hiring and the age requirements.

mcdonalds i know for sure hires 15, and check other fast fod places, you also can bus boy at restruants i think

unless you live in a very small town with mom and pop like stores i would say no..its thelaw that you have to be atleast 16 unless you have financial hardship and you might be able to get a job before 16, but youd have to check with your local govenment..butthere is always mowing lawns and babysitting..good luck
