  1. it depends on you she is going to live with. if you kick her out by law you have to support her till she is 18 years old. you are her mom its wrong to kick her out but its up to you just make shure you are doing the right thing

  2. No... they can call the cops and you'll be right back where you started.

  3. How will you pay for rent? Food? Water? Electricity? Clothes? Books? Anything? To pay for all the above you would have to quit school and get a job. But you cannot get a job without a high school degree.

Unless your mother is abusing you ( and this will be checked out by a trained professional) then you have to stay.

Most 16 year old feel that they cannot live with their parents it is a part of being a teenager.

  4. You need to check your state emancipation law.

  5. in missouri u can at 17.

  6. It depends on where you live and what the laws say in your state.  That I know of your mom cannot use force of any kind to make you stay or come back. If you leave make sure you have a safe place to live, not the streets or people you are not sure of. You should ask your self if you are doing the right thing for you. Sometimes we can handle more than we think we can. You did not give a strong reason for leaving. Talk to mom if you can, maybe she is not happy either.

  7. Yes, but  you will need to prove to a judge to become emincipated.

  8. It depends on the conditions. For example, if your parents are divorced and you were given custody to your mom, you can petition the courts,  in most states at 16, that you wish to live with your dad if he's a suitable parent & would want you to live with him.

One question no one's asked you- why can't you live with her anymore? If it's because she is being a parent & doing her job as a parent preventing you from running with kids all hours of the night, keeping you from getting into trouble, then get over it. She's helping to keep you out of jail or the morgue.

If she's being abusive, then go to your local Child Protective Svcs office & speak to them, see what they can do for you.

  9. If you have a job, and I mean a job that will support you, and if you are responsible, you can possibly get emancipated. Ask your school couselor for help. Also, google emancipation in your state and find out the criteria. Good luck to you. I feel for you.

  10. There is no one that would rent to you at that age, and if you decide to shack up at a friends house, your mom can call the cops and report you as a runaway. And your friends will get introuble for harboring a runaway. The only thing you can do is petition the court for emancipation.

  11. im in the same boat wit u and im jus 15 but this has bein goin on since my parents got divorced wen i was 7 so u cood ask ur dad to get custody of you i kno my dad is right now

  12. i ithnk 16 is when you can become legally emancipated in most states, but you better have good reason and look before you leap or youll end up homeless and broke and your life going no where just trying to survive.
