I am looking to go for a cruise of the ocean with Princess Cruises, I make enough money from work to go on the cruise and for my 2 sisters (12 Years Of Age) and im 16 myself. I am wondering if it is allowed for us with parental consent of course to signup and go on a 7 day cruise just us? Is there any legal restrictions blocking that or will the cruise company say no? Thanks

  1. If you are under the age of 18 then you will need a parent or legal guardian to board the cruise ship,It is TOTALLY UNSAFE TO DO THIS IF YOU ARE NOT LEGAL AGE, you could be kidnapped and sold into human slave/s*x markets and never be heard from again, where do you get these crazy ideas?!! don't you watch/hear the news about the "stuff' that happens aboard cruise ships, the crew are the most dangerous people on board, they get paid from these "slave traders" to watch for children NOT with adults and they "take' these kids and do whatever they want to them. And our govenrment can't do a thing because of international marine laws.So get the idea of a cruise OUT OF YOUR HEAD!!!

Why don't you go to Walt Disney World in Florida instead?!!

or go to an Amusement Park or better yet, save your money towards college.

  2. no....you have to be at least 18 to go on a cruise by your self...they do not take parents notes im afraid!!

  3. There has to be someone 25 years and older for u to go with. Then if they have a letter of consent from your parents then u can go.

  4. No, you need to have an adult at least 25 yrs of age with on the ship, sorry.

  5. Unfortunately NO!!!  All of the cruise lines, except Cunard, requires that at least one person in each cabin be at least 21 years of age or older.  That requirement is even higher on Carnival; at least one person must be 25 years of age or older.  The requirement on Princess cruise line is 21 years of age or older and they will not accept your reservation if this requirement is not met.  Plus positive identification is always required so there is no way that you can try to reserve as someone else.  When you get to the port to board the ship they will always require a positive ID and if you do not have it you cannot get on the ship.

In addition, if you want to cruise with someone age 21 or older who is NOT your parent you must have your parent(s) sign a parental consent form.  So, for example, if you get Grandma or uncle Joe to go, you can get your parents to sign consent forms for each of you.
