I am 16 years old and just started having s*x with my boyfriend. I want to get on birth control without my parents knowing and without having it appear on our insurance bill. How is this possible? Would Planned Parenthood let me walk in and ask for the pill or do I need a legal guardian's consent? HELP!

  1. I am a little disappointed in all the answers here.

I see everyone telling you where to go and that no your parents will not find out.

    1. You should have sought this info. before even starting to have intercourse.

    2. You should talk to your parents about it and be honest.

    3. Shame of your b/f for not thinking about your and his safety first.

    4. Have some self pride sweety and make sure you take care of yourself and think safe dear.

    5. As a parent of a teenager, I would be more upset knowing that this would be hidden from me instead of talking to me and taking care of the situation. Children will always choose what they want to choose...but really abstaining is the best for your safety. Trust me you do not want to have what society calls a "mistake" at this young of age. Please whatever you choose be careful.

    Have a great weekend.

  2. yes make an appointment

no your parents dont need to know about it

    free until youre 18

  3. planned parenthoodd or go to your doc and speak private and get prescrption

  4. go to planned parenthood

  5. well dear dont panic, but mind your step before you walk the path , it is possible to get a pill online , just ask any of you friend to pay it for you online, here the link for it :

    http://search.ebay.com/search/search.dll...

  6. i know that where i live you can just go to the health center, tell them your situation, and they will give you some. You dont have to give any insurance or personal information. Good luck. Always use condoms as well as the pill.

  7. planned parenthood will give it to you without your parents knowing. i don't think you need an appointment for it, but you could always call ahead and ask.

  8. I don't beleieve you need an appt. before you go in,BUT they will not treat you w/o 1. a parent being with you,2. w/o a parent's signature, why can't you be truthful with your pparents especially your mom and have a talk with her, and ask her if she would get you birth control pills to regulate your periods? If you're honest with her, you may see a different side of your mom,and more bad news I'm afraid birth control pills are only 99% safe! That 1% percent is the one which makes you pregnant( I had 1 daughter, 3 sons) 1 of the sons was when I was on birth control pills, so you see, not 100% safe; you should really not have s*x with anybody until you are old enough to FULLY  UNDERSTAND  THAT YOU CAN GET PREGNANT  EVEN ON THE PILL! Condoms aren't that safe either, they can break while inside you, and that could cost you your life, if not removed  A.S.A.P., if they treated you w/o a parent's consent and something do go wrong, or did go right, your parents could sue thatestablishment and win! And you still would be pregnant  at 16, there would go the rest of your life, you would need to put the baby first in everything you do, is it worth having s*x now, and losing the rest of your fun years ?Your teen-age years are supposed to be the most enjoyable years of your life, but not if you get pregnant now, just think about it ok?Let yourself and your boyfriend enjoy each others company w/o s*x so you can go buy a blouses if you want, or a bathing suit, or him (if he has a car new rims, etc,. understand? I tried to say the same thing to my daughter when she was 16yrs.old, but she knew everything(NOT REALLY) she got pregnant at 16, and her fun years going to parties, prom, sleep-overs, no more, they flew right out the window never more to have these times in her life, having s*x at Chris'(my daughter's name)age of 16, yes, she had a beautiful baby boy, and YES, SHE COULD NO LONGER GO WITH FRIENDS,for riding around, having fun, like she was supposed to have had, no prom dances, no going out with friends to eat, [had to stay home and take care of her son],yes,I did help her because all she had ever done up to this time was baby-sit,SHE HAD NO IDEA HOW TO TAKE OF A BABY FULL TIME]! Do you? or your boyfriend? Don't trade your most happy years for a pregnancy that I'm sure you both don't want (at least not right now),give yourselves time to grow up first, then somewhere  down the line if you & he still wants s*x, and you want to be pregnant fine, BUT please after your wedding!Just let yourselves together think this out completely TRUTHFULLY!

  9. Planned Parenthood is a company of full confidentiality which means they can't tell your parents about it. So you should go get it there I think. But just be careful, I heard there are some weird hormonal side effects that come with the pill, like if you start acting wacky or feeling depressed get off it.

  10. i think u can go to planned parenthood.
