  1. My children both had accounts before they were one year old.  With some credit unions you need an affiliation.

    Call them and ask.

  2. Once upon a time...when Little Studly was only 5 years old, his dad signed him up at the credit union.  Dad was a friend of one of the officers, and to become an officer you had to be voted in by the membership.

Dad had 5 kids....Dad got his friend 5 more votes.

When Studly got older (much older) he suddenly found himself as one of the oldest members of the credit union....and that comes with lots of perks!  I get a free notepad and pen every year now!  Get that from your banks now!!!

Anyway....yes you can join at any age.

  3. yes.  until you are 18 though one of your parents will have to be on the account also.
