Can a 16 year old test drive a car in Louisiana?

My wife and I are looking at buying a mustang as a 3rd car that our 16 year old son would mostly use. If he has a license and one of us were in the car with him and the sales person, would they let him test drive it?

Sure. Especially if you and the salesperson were along for the ride.

However, don't expect them to let a 16-yr old test drive a sports car on their own. Most dealers frown heavily on that.
