Can a 16 year old wear a half shield in any hockey leauge in the usa?

im 16 and im going to play in a junior leauge next season and i was wondering if i could wear a halfie when i play or do i have to stay with my fishbowl lol

The USHL is a Junior league in the USA and their players have a choice of Full or Half-shield. Players are between the ages of 16-20. So the answer is yes.. their is atleast one league that they can wear a half-shield.

Dude,

You will have to use A full face shield or cage! The only way you could use a half shield is in the NHL.16 is the legal minimum age for the NHL.

I am pretty sure under-18 year old players have to wear a full face shield, whether if it's a full wire or combo. At least that's how it was when I was your age.
