I just found out I'm pregnant and I would like to know if I'm allowed to apply without my parents consent or their information going on the application.

  1. Only slaves get chipped or branded ! Think freedom !

  2. I'm pretty sure you can. It's very easy to get healthcare for your children, born or unborn, in Texas.

But really, what difference does it make if your parents know that your child has health insurance? I mean, unless someone else can pay for it, I'm sure they'd be glad to know their grandchild is getting well taken care of.

They're going to find out eventually, and yes, they will probably be upset at first, but soon enough they will be probably be really excited about a grandchild...especially your mom!

The only reason I would keep the knowledge of your baby from your parents is if they wanted you to do something like get an abortion or otherwise hurt the baby, or put it up for adoption against your wishes.

  3. when i applied for it when i was 17 they called my house and i had to have my mom talk to them because they said im underage and i was not allowed to sign so my mom had to sign my papers for me... i dont know if its diff in texas though.. im in PA
