i have a friend who has been kicked out of the house..she is 17 years old..but she is not from the united states of america... she is from africa..but she has been in the U.S. for almost 10 years..and she graduated with a diploma...

her mother kicked her out and would not let her get back in the house... so will she get into trouble of will the mother get in trouble..?

how about if the mother goes and reports her to the police that she is not a citizen in the states? will the girl get deported?

How about if the girl is stilled kicked out of the house and the mother reports to the police that her daughter is not at home. will she get into trouble of since she lives in texas...they cant force her to come back home

>> also, is there any way that the girl can get her citizenship? since she has been in the U.S. since she was 8 years old, because her mother got her a visa..but he she went to school and graduated.

  1. She could not have stayed legally on a "visa" for 10 years.  It would appear from this that she is an illegal alien.  She has graduated from h.s. and needs to return to her country of citizenship before she turns 18.  If she does so, her parents' actions in bringing her here/keeping her here illegally will not be held against her, and in time she can apply for immigration if she qualifies.  If she stays, she becomes a deportable illegal alien.

She is not able to work legally, she is too young to get an apt, etc. since she is under 18.  She's in big trouble, and she had better get out of the US before she ends up in jail and deportation.  If that happens, she has no chance of ever getting immigration to the US or anywhere else.

The mother needs to be deported.  Parents are reponsible for their children until they turn 18.  Turn her in to ICE before she does any further damage to her daughter.  She has done a pretty good job of ruining her daughter's life so far.

  2. if she is kicked out of her house. she can claim to be an emancipated minor. i don't know if the mother will get in trouble. the only trouble your friend will have is supporting herself. and trying to make a living; like everybody else here. i wish her luck.
