YES BUT A PARENT MUST BE LINKED. BUT BANKS HAVE BEEN IN TROUBLE LATELY SO I WOULD RESEARCH THE BEST BANKS TO PUT YOUR MONEY INTO.

I opened an account (without my parents being attached to it) at 16 at Bank of America, so I'm sure you could.

At wells fargo you have to have parents consent or POA on your account if your not 18.
