Can a 19 year old convicted of Drunk in Public In California get a restricted License?

I know that for the first 30 days no one is eligible for a restricted license. But I don't know if because of my age I'll even be eligible and how to go about it....anyone know

  2. Drivers under the age of 21 in California can get a "critical needs license" in many cases I believe.  Try to get a 415, disturbing the peace, plea agreement with alcohol classes instead.

    And search for section 13202.5 of the Vehicle Code.  That explains exactly what you're asking about and it's actually better than me trying to explain it in any reasonable amount of space here.

  4. According to what I see on the tube, in Mission Bay CA, underage drinking or possession can get your license suspended until 21.
