Can a 19 year old with a driver's permit drive alone without an adult supervising?

Yea so I heard if you are 19 years of age..you can drive by yourself without somebody supervising you[a person that has a lisence]. Is that true? Because my parents don't let me drive alone and im almost 19 and I have my permit..i wont get my lisence til August 30 or something like that..so I needa know....Im in the state of Virginia

  1. Pertaining to any thing on 4 wheels, the answer is NO. But you may operate a motorcycle after having your learners permit validated at least six months alone.


  2. When you have a permit you are not allowed to drive alone, no matter what your age, you must have an adult with you at all times, that's why you have a "learner's permit", because you are still learning and have not been deemed a "licensed driver."

  3. Not with just a permit.

  4. No anyone with a permit needs to have a licensed driver in the car with them no matter what age...well unless you're 21 but clearly you're not.

  5. No one with only a permit is allowed to drive without the supervision of a licensed driver.

  6. permit not age says you have to have an experienced driver (adult) with you.
