Looking to buy a new jet ski and was wondering if my 2000 Toyota Rav4 would be able to tow the single place trailer and be able to launch and pull the trailer off the boat ramp. Thanks for any help.

  1. owing to the jetski sizes that are comming out nowdays I would look at the legal towing weight of the manufacturer. Consider the Jetski, trailer and any other equipment you may be carrying. Most jetski's are capable of being towed by Toyotas Rav4.

  2. Yes it will handle that easily.

  3. That should not be a problem. The place i live i see boats alot larger than the vehicle pulling them. and they all seam to get in and out of the water just fine so for just a small jet ski npo problem

  4. It's OK if your RAV4 have AWD and the ramp is in good condition - paved. Otherwise, it's very difficult to tell...I mean it! My cousin has 2002 RAV4 and a Yamaha FX Cruiser. Oh boys, always get stuck at the ramp and "excessive use of his AAA towing membership"!

  5. Yes definitely. Enjoy your new jet ski as well. Regards Tom

  6. Yes. We did it with my wife's 99 Rav when she had it. We also pulled two skis
