  1. It is not flex fuel.  So, no, you cannot run all E85 in it.  However all cars can run on 10-30% ethanol.  So putting a few gallons of E85 in it is perfectly fine as long as the tank is half full or more.  Just keep your overall ethanol percentage in your tank under 30%.  i run about 25% ethanol in my 2005 ford focus.  the tank holds 14 gallons.  When the needle gets to 3/4 full I add 2 gallons of E85 to it.  I have been doing this for 2 years and never had a single problem.  Blending a little E85 in is better than nothing.  It burns cleaner and saves me money.  All modern cars can run on up to 30% ethanol with no problems.  To run pure E85 though you need a flex fuel car.

Ford has two full hybrid electric vehicle models on the road today – the Ford Escape Hybrid and the Mercury Mariner Hybrid – and will increase production capacity to 250,000 hybrid vehicles a year globally by the end of the decade.

The company will produce up to 250,000 ethanol-capable vehicles this year, including the Ford F-150 pickup truck, as well as the Ford Crown Victoria , Mercury Grand Marquis and Lincoln Town Car large sedans.

Auto Week reports that Ford plans to offer a more fuel-efficient version of its full-size SUV, the Expedition, that could be powered by either a new European V-8 diesel engine or a gasoline-electric hybrid powertrain.

Ford is angling to have a higher-mileage, full-size SUV that will compete with the hybrid full-size SUVs arriving from GM next year. Such a vehicle could be ready for production around 2010.
