Has the system changed or something where you have to be older to get insured, i got quoted last yr as if i was 21 on a mits fto and it was £1200-1300, this year its seems to have changed to £2200-£6000, have they lifted the age limit or something.

its not that expensive in ireland and england is supposed to have cheaper car insurance

  1. it is amazing expensive nowadays

get a 5 years no claim bonus if u want the price to go down

  2. yes

  3. no its more expensive because the insurance companies have tarred 21year olds with the one brush ie they are more likely to cause an accident through recklessness speeding or drink driving. You might not fall into these categorys but the insurers say you do. A sad fact of life

  4. no!

  5. know what you mean, I 24 have been driving for 3 years, have 3 years no claims, no speeding tickets etc.

My crime is a 2ltr Honda Accord £1300.

What a joke, my mate is 28 has no no-claims had 3 crashes in 5 years and has a 1.8 magane and pays £650 (he has been driving for 11 years).

    What a f*cking joke
