Can a 24v solar panel be changed to 12v?

A company sent me rong panel & it fried my charge controller.

Since you now need a new charge controller, buy a 24v one.

On the output it can be changed, but not at the panel its self. You can use a convertor. There is an example of one in the link in my sources.

You can't change the panel to 12 volt but you could run the power through a converter and bring it back to 12 volt.
