  1. no helicopter , wheter real or toy, can fly upside down.theres a reason they put the ruders on top..now if youre talking about a barrol roll or spin, thats a diffrent story

  2. If you want to know more details about 4 channel rc helicopter,I am happy to recommend a site to you, I believe that you can find the information you want here. http://www.rcroll.com

  3. even though you didn't want a "no they can't" answer I'm inclined to give you it.

A 4 channel helicopter 90% of the time uses what's called a fixed pitch head.

The pitch of the helicopter blades remains in one exact position and the helicopter motor controls the amount of thrust (or lift) the heli produces. One channel controls the motor, one controls the rudder, and the other 2 control the ailerons.

With a 6 channel heli your using what's called a ccpm or hde cyclic mixing. In this instance the head blades move up and down and change the amount of pitch they produce. This allows the heli to fly upside down, the pitch can go to a negative position to act as if it were upright. This use's 6 channels....one for motor, one for rudder, one for aileron, one for elevator, and one for pitch (ch5 usually gyro gain). You can fly a 6 channel heli in normal mode just the same as you could a 4 channel. 6 channel use and idle switch to go into "3d mode".

That is why 6 channel is soo much more popular and why 4 channel is slowly being phased out (slowly going extinct in rc).

    cheers
