Can a 5 month old male kitten impregnate a female?

I need to get him to the vet to be neutered and I'm wondering how soon it is that they are actually fertile! How old are they when they can impregnate a female? I want to make sure this isn't possible in the meantime!!

hi a male cat is fertile between 4-6 monthes so  if u dont want impregnate a female keep it indoors and get it neutered asap

absolutely he can...he should have been neutered at 4 months before any habits have begun but get him in asap and the female CAN be pregnant

male cats are fertile anywhere from 4 months on. i would suggest getting him done ASAP before your baby becomes a daddy. Also be carefull if you have a young female as they are fertile from about 5 months and a large litter at a young age can kill them.

Puberty comes at different times for different animals.  He should see the vet before 6 months.  

Once a male cat starts marking territory, they don't stop even after neutering.  You should get it done now.

yes, it varies on on the cats, in my cats case, the male was 4 months old and he impregnated the female at 41/2 months, he just got neutered a few weeks ago. and again, its not beyond belief but the female was not even 4 months old.
