Can a 5500 volt generator power two standard fridges?

I would need to use extention cords.....also would like to have a few lights pluged in. IIt has four grounded outlets. Do you think I have enough juice?

  1. It 5500watt not 5500volt (you would have sparks everywhere if it was) and yes it should be big enough for 2 refrigerators and some lights


  2. Assuming that you  are asking about a 5500 W generator. One refrigerator takes about 300 watt or so. Two would need a maximum of say 1000 watt even if they are really big. That would leave you with 4500 watt which is enough for a lot of lights I suppose.

  3. Yes, plenty of voltage to burn them out.  The wattage is 5500 and that is enough to run 2 fridges.
