  1. It's not a good idea to give a six month old any kind of sweets, in my opinion.  The dairy in the ice cream may be hard for him to properly digest, too, causing pain at least.  The Great Allergy debate rages on, but there are those out there who believe you increase the baby's risk of allergies by giving certain things (dairy, peanut butter, eggs) before age 1.  HTH!

  2. What a coincidence I have a 6 month old named Josh too. Yes, by the way i think it's ok.

  3. honestly it is not advised, at 6 months anything milk based and contains sugar like ice cream is too harsh on the baby's stomach and could cause some serious problems. So i advise no, my son at 1 year got a bite of cake (the cake not the frosting) but that was as sweet as it got, my older girls are 3 and i make them frozen pops out of fruit juice that is organic or i made myself. But that is my lifestyle and i am not pressing that on anyone.

  4. im sure that would be perfectly ok :)

  5. only a little!!! He will be hooked.

  6. No, I would hold off on junk food and anything with dairy or sugar in it. They don't need it.

  7. i suppose if they like it thats fine, i like them. lol:D

  8. Well it is entirely up to you but its not recommended. Most experts say not to give cows milk products till at least 13 months as their tiny little tummys cant handle it before hand. And can also lead to milk allergies ans lactose intolerance
