  2. Sure, but loose the wallet. It will cost some money.

ranger station. LMC . Pirate 4x4 and Ford truck enthusiast. those web sites are all helpful in determining what you may want.

I found an old bronco and stuck my ranger body on the frame. I now have a one of a kind ranger with a 351W. I learned a ton on everything when I did it.

  3. If you can wedge it in the space available, why not?

  4. u have to watch it most ford motors r interchangeable but u don't want to go to far off the yr and it could become a lot of work to do that u might have to change out the transmission  and the rest of the guts it depends if the bolt holes match up and u don't want to get anything to over whelming for the truck cause it could twist the frame and mess up the body i would say stick with the one u got or go to auto zone or napa and see what motors u could do

  5. Yes you can, if you money and times  does not matter.  You'll be in for a whole lots of work and maybe learning new words along the way.

Why not just modify or beef up your 4.0?  There are all kind of super chargers for it as well as chips.
