Can a American citizen serve in any Scandinavian country's Military? What would be required?

Have intentions to relocate to Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland or Iceland.

Not sure about the others, but in the Swedish army is still based on general conscription, though it has grown much smaller in later years, so less and less boys actually go there to do their time - they are just not needed any more. Maybe you could apply for work as an officer, if you have the qualifications.  I  doubt that a non-Swedish citizen could do that, though.

  3. I'm pretty sure if you want to enlist in their army, you have to give up your American citizenship.

  7. You can if you have a dual citizenship with the country you are in (Norway, Sweden, etc) and America.
