Can a Blue-Ray DVD player with only 1080p output...work on a HD-Ready LCD TV capable of only 1080i resolution through a HDMI cable?

  3. Yes, I use my PS3 on my 1080i and have watched blu rays on it perfectly.

  4. Blue Ray is recorded in 1080p. The only question is that your picture will only provide resolution in its pixal rating. If your TV is 420p, that's the max resolution you'll have. Most LCD's are 780p which is the minimum HD pitcure but it is still HD. 1080i and 1080p screens will provide everything Blue Ray disks can offer. Make sure to use only an HDMI ( High Def. Multi Interface cable), no other cabling will transfer HD video and audio signals.
