Can a CFi give a high performance or complex endorsement in a FTD PCATD or simulator?

sound s a bit strange but look at the endorsemt reg....ill call the fsdo but i want some input?

Why are you calling the FSDO...the regulation is pretty clear.

I do wish you luck finding a CFI foolish enough to give you (or anyone) a high performance or complex endorsement.

The regulation also states f flight simulator or flight training device, a PCATD is neither of those.

see § 61.31  (e) Additional training required for operating complex airplanes. and  (f) Additional training required for operating high-performance airplanes.
