  1. it depends on your nationality, your Canadian PR card does not make any difference to US immigration


  2. When you say you are a permanent resident, are you a Canadian? If not, you will need a valid passport if travelling by land. If you travel by air, all Canadian citizens require a valid passport. The laws are changing, I believe next year, that all Canadians entering the U.S.A. will require a valid passport.

  3. It depends on what country you're from. I think you need a visa and probably the passport from your country of origin.

    They like for fully Canadian citizens to have their Canadian passports with them now so I wouldn't take the chance with just the PR Card.
