  1. yes he can.. based on your question, I can guarantee that even with a criminal record, you can enter any country that u were always allowed to enter. You would just have to obtain a letter of approval from your nearest municipality or police office and get it approved from the new zealand embassy.

I have done this before, but when I was going to DR.

    thanks

  2. I suspect that you wouldn't be eligible for visa free entry (although i guess it could be argued that nobody would know), however even if you aren't eligible for visa free entry you may simply require a visa.  PS don't try and sneak in.

If the criminal recording is for DUI/DIC then there is perhaps a bit of leeway but you need to contact the NZ Embassy in Canada.

On the website it will direct you to this page:

    http://www.immigration.govt.nz/

This is what it says in regards to people applying for a work permit. Obviously you are potentially applying for a tourist visa but it is interesting nonetheless because it indicates that a bit of leeway is allowed.

I have a criminal conviction or I have a serious medical problem – will this affect my application?

Yes it may, all applicants have to be of good character and be of an acceptable standard of health. If you are worried about serious medical problems or a criminal record we are happy to give you advice.

  3. Probably not. go to               www.travel.state.gov see new z entry requirements. canada has a website called www.voyages.gc.ca .

you cannot enter canada from the us witha  simple dui.

ubber rich martha stewart cannot go tot he uk because of her past criminal convinction. each country has it's own rules.
