Can a Chiropractor fix my knee?

I think my kneecap is out of place.

  1. Sounds like you tore the cartilage in your knee (meniscus). While your chiropractic physician will be able to diagnose this... it is most likely something you will need surgery for.

    It is possible that it is a "free-body" also... (a piece of cartilage/bone/tissue) that can form and be floating around in the knee.

    If it looks like your kneecap is where it is supposed to be, then your kneecap is probably not "out of place".

    Get to a **good** orthopedic surgeon and get it taken care of!

  3. Maybe, but my partner wasn't able to straighten his leg and it was actually a bit of torn cartiledge that was stuck in the joint.  Go to a doctor first to check the actual cause.
