  1. Explain to a future employer in your interview that when you were young, you had a bit of an attitude and got off to a bad start in the work world.  But you have gone to college and really applied yourself and are hoping for another chance.

If your college gpa is good, you've got a chance.  And maybe you'll find a boss who also had a checkered youth and may give you a break.  So, don't give up.  Redemption is a prime value in America.

  2. Web design isn't going to get you anything - the tech bubble burst long ago... besides... any monkey with a computer can design a website...

  3. No future employer will care about your work history prior to college unless it is in the field of your studies.  It is better to look for tech jobs at your local computer lab on campus to gain experience in your field.  Don't sweat being lazy when you were a kid because, well, you were a kid.

  4. Getting a college degree can erase a bad work record because you can avoid bring it up.

  5. If it isn't good don't use it since it was when you were younger you can say you concentrated on your education and this is your first job.

  6. Yes. Everything you did in high school for work won't get looked that hard at if you go to school and get a 4 year degree.

Start offering your web design services on the net, make some extra money and gets your name and reputation out there.

PS BE CAREFUL about saying the "T" word, to people or in print in the phrase you stated.

By saying this even as a joke, can be taken seriously by the gov. Like it or not, it can be seen as a threat, and believe it or not, you could be investigated and or prosecuted under the Patriot Act for making this statement.

I'm sure that your not serious.
