  1. I think nowadays...your employer will be the one who will apply for your TIN no...that's it thanks!!

  2. You can apply for TIN if you are self-employed or a payor of donor's tax (estate tax), etc. Other than that, you'll have to be employed to get a TIN since there's a part of the BIR form 1902, which is the form for TIN application, that needs to be filled out by the employer.

  3. i was able to procure one even before i started working. as long as you know someone from the BIR,hehe

  4. the moment he/she starts earning.

  5. yes as long as he is/ will start working..

  6. Yes. But better to wait for your employer to get you one. I know some companies get their employees TIN for them. But, if you can't wait, I know you can get a TIN even if you do not have work. The big BUT is you're taking your chances in talking with BIR people who do not know what or how to advice you. In any case, read this to get procedures:

    (I just googled it)

  7. as a Filipino citizen, you are obliged to have your TIN once you start working so that you can be sure that the tax deducted from your salary is being honestly remitted to the BIR. Ask for a form form your HR personnel and go the BIR office. It won't take long, you can have your ID after a few minutes.

  8. Yes, as young as 18 you can apply for TIN.  On special cases like child actors, clearances from Department of Labor and DSWD would be necessary prior to issuance of TIN.
