Can a GPS Navigation System get me from state to state?

  1. Yes, it should be able to. Navigation systems sold in the U.S. usually come with North American maps pre loaded, so pretty much every street in America. I got one that includes about half of Canada as well. Just be weary that roads change all the time and so take that into mind when your relying on just a navigation. Try and get one that receives updates often and update it right before your trip with the latest maps so that your as up to date as possible!


  2. Sure.

    You should know that GPS works really well in old cities (NYC, Boston, even Los Angeles).  But in many states with many new development (like in New Jersey) the map is often off or does NOT know about new neighborhoods and streets.  Check with a street map (or at least with google first) before you start off.
