My old guitar got destroyed. All i have is the neck. I decided to keep the neck, and just build a new body. I decided on the Les Paul shape.

Can anyone give me the measurements of a les paul (length width height)?

Are Les Pauls hollow?

Also, if you could give me any other information i could use to build this, please let me know.

Any help could get you 10 points. THANKS!

  1. The thickness of the body is 5cm, the length with out the neck is 44cm. The width of the top ellipse is 23.5cm (the round part at the top), the width of the bottom ellipse is 33cm (the round part of the bottom). The width of the thinnest part of the guitar is 19cm (between the two curved parts). The total length of the guitar is 98cm.

Les Pauls aren't hollow - the Gibson equivalent that is hollow is the ES 137.

The Gibson Les Paul is made from Mahogany.

    I hope this helps!
