  1. Yes, they can have baths. Only for about 3-4 months though.

    Supplies:

    Small Animal Shampoo

    3-4 Towels

    Small tub

    A hairdryer

    A helper

    1. Fill the tub with about 2 inches of warm water.

    2. Put the guinea pig in the tub.

    3. Scoop up some water from the tub and pour it on your guinea pig. Make sure not to get it in it's eyes, ears or nose.

    4. Once your guinea pig is wet, take him out and place him on a towel

and put a dab of shampoo on his back.  Gently Rub the shampoo into his fur, then have someone hold him while you change the water in the tub. Put him back in the tub.

    5. Wash the shampoo off him, then take him back out.

6.Dry him with a hiardryer on medium, if it's to hot for you, it's to hot for your guinea pig.

    Hope this helps!

  2. Hi, I guess you can bathe them I had to wash my babies bum a few times when he got wet.  I wanted to say I used to feed my piggie some oatmeal dry, and I also know you can use oatmeal for dry skin, so how about using some oatmeal you put in a blender to powder up and make a light paste to wash him with? I used to do this for my dog who has skin allergies.. GOOD LUCK!!

  3. I have a guinea pig too. I usually give him baths once a month or twice a month. Here's how to give a guinea pig a bath:

    1. First, you have to find a huge bucket.

The "bucket" should look like a mini bathtub. A real bathtub should be about 8 times bigger than the mini one.

    2. Get a towel that's big enough for a guinea pig. The bath should be outside unless it's winter or really cold outside. Place the towel on the driveway or the grass(I prefer grass because it's softer).

    3. Next, fill the mini tub with one inch of WARM water(or two inches, it depends on how big your guinea pig is) . The water should be a little higher than the guinea pig's feet.

    4. Then, Put your guinea pig in the tub. Take a small cup and pour more warm water on the back of the guinea pig. Make sure no water gets in the guinea pig's eyes, nose, ears, or mouth.

    5. If you want to shampoo your guinea pig, you can still use regular shampoo and conditioner. And the shampoo can't get on the face(nose, ears, mouth) .

    6. After the bath, put your guinea pig on the towel and wrap it up. You don't want your guinea pig to catch a cold. Then, you can hold the guinea pig like a baby(except the back is facing you) and feed it a carrot(Optional!) ...

Ta Da! Now you know how to give a guinea pig a proper bath.

Tips: If the guinea pig is squealing in the water, calm it down by rewarding it with food or just by saying soothing words to him.

And by the way, a bath would help the itchy spot.

    Hope I helped!   :)

  4. Yes, you can give a guinea pig a bath. Just fill up your sink a very little  amount and use a special shampoo that you can get a a pet store. After that blow dry their fur and wrap them in a towel. Or you can buy a special spray shampoo that you just spray and rub in.

  5. yes, of course!

Make sure the water level is below the guinea pig's head, and make sure water doesn't get in the eyes.

  6. no your guinea pig can get sick

  7. Yes, even though guinea pigs can swim, they hate baths. But they get smelly without.

You can buy small animal shampoo from a pet shop. Rince them with warm water, not hot or not cold.

  8. yes guinea pigs can have baths because they are a very calm animal but when you do give ur furry friend a bath be sure to not use soap because it could get in its ears (that counts for water as well) and that would infect it or the soap will give it another rash and be sure to fully dry ur piggy:)

    hope i helped :)

hope it has fun in its bath:)

    hope it comes out clean:)

    hope the rash goes away:)
